Tiffany Atalla, MFT

Tiffany Atalla (MFT) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Idaho, California, and Nevada with nearly two decades of professional experience. She has an extensive background as both a culturally competent clinician for First Responders and trauma specialist. In addition to her practice, she works with a specialized First Responder EAP and teaches and trains departments nationally. Tiffany established the Optimum Resilience Program for First Responders undergoing treatment for substance misuse, addiction, and mental health. She is passionate about helping First Responders and their families to improve their lives overall through wellness therapy and empirically based modalities. Tiffany is certified by the Polyvagal Equine Institute and has a background in EAGALA Equine Assisted Psychotherapist. She enjoys facilitating the clients experiential and narrative growth through Equine therapy sessions as well.

Jamie Williams, Equine Professional

Co-Founder of the Optimum Resilience Program

Jamie has spent the last 25 years in the Fire Service serving many communities in Southern California. Starting her career as a fire fighter she worked her way up through many positions concluding with Fire Chief. During her time, she has been exposed to a wide variety of crisis and tragedy. Jamie holds certifications in both Peer Support Individual Intervention and Peer Support Group Intervention through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. She has worked alongside peer support, chaplains, and mental health professionals to participate and lead both crisis diffusing and critical incident debriefings. Out of her personal journey to heal, Jamie has found the incredible healing power of equine assisted therapy. As a Certified Equine Professional, she has a passion to bring this modality to those in need.

Erin Tway, Equine Professional

Co-Founder of the Optimum Resilience Program

Erin has 25 years of experience as an equine professional. She is certified by the Polyvagal Equine Institute offering Horsemanship and Equine Therapy as an Equine Specialist. She specializes in First Responder specific workshops, retreats, and groups for both residential and outpatient treatment centers. Erin began working with horses at a young age volunteering at local barns which developed into a wealth of skills and experience that helped shape her competency and compassion as an equine professional.

Bey, Canine Companion

Bey is a Canine Companions expertly trained facility dog, that works with Tiffany Atalla MFT.

She has been trained in over 40 commands designed to motivate and inspire clients and support their treatment.  Bey is a source of calm, unconditional love, and attention.  She loves belly rubs, high fives, and shaking the hands of all of our clients.  Bey at work is capable of a block command to create space when a client is triggered, lap and visit, and other social connection commands, as well as appropriate pressure, touch, and intervention.

As with all CCI Dogs, Bey was provided free of charge, and her role is to be in support and service of those that serve.
